Tour with elements of spectacle

An excursion with show elements is an exciting adventure where the traditional guided tour is supplemented with interactive activities.

During the excursion, participants are involved in role-playing stories, which allow them to feel like part of the events and better understand the history and internal order of the visited place. Discipline must be observed, you will participate in drill training, you will be placed in a cell, and in case of disobedience, punished… Such excursions are suitable for adults and students, and they are often chosen for special events, such as birthdays, team-building events for companies, or tourist groups who want to gain an unusual experience.

Event duration is approximately 1 hour.

We offer for groups of 10 people or more, intended for children from 10 years old. We offer in Latvian, English, and Russian.

adults 8 EUR   minimum price per group – 80 EUR (if the group is up to 10 persons)

students, 5.00 EUR minimum price per group – 50 EUR (if the group is up to 10 persons)

university students, 7.00 EUR  minimum price per group – 70 EUR (if the group is up to 10 persons)

The Karosta Prison building is managed by a public benefit organization “Karosta rescue society”, whose goals are preservation, restoration and promotion of cultural and historical objects of Karosta. By purchasing a ticket for a tour in the Karosta Prison, you donate 50% of the sum for the preservation of cultural and historical objects of Karosta. The donations received in 2023 will be used for renewal of museum expositions in Karosta Prison and for light installation in Redan.
